🎹 OPEN PIANO FOR REFUGEES 🎹 This week our Vienna Pop & Jazz Choir had the pleasure to sing at the Open Piano for Refugees on Mariahilfer Stra. It was a pleasure to perform in front of an audience again after half a year - even more, because it is for a good cause!😃 ~~~ Diese Woche durfte unser Vienna Pop & Jazz Choir bei Open Piano for Refugees auf der Mariahilfer Stra singen. Es hat uns wahnsinnig Spaß gemacht, nach ﲾr einem halben Jahr wieder vor Publikum zu performen - und das auch noch für einen guten Zweck! 😃 @openpianoforrefugees.

Wie schön, dass man das auch mit Musik ausdr࿌ken kann!\n\nOpen Piano for Refugees platziert einen frei zugänglichen Flügel auf der Mariahilfer Stra 75 von 16.06 - 20.06 von ca. 11:00 - 21:30 Uhr: Alle dürfen spielen. Alle dürfen zuhören. Alle (Instrumente) sind willkommen! ♥️\n\nWICHTIG: Bitte Abstand zwischen den ZuhörerInnen halten. Die Musik verbindet uns genug 😉 Auch Hände vor und nach dem Spielen bitte desinfizieren. Wir stellen etwas bereit. Wir ersuchen zudem alle die sich krank fühlen, Covid-Symptome verspüren oder in Kontakt mit bestätigten oder verd์htigen Fällen waren, der Veranstaltung im Sinne aller fernzubleiben. Zudem müssen sich bitte alle, die spielen wollen, in unserer Liste vor Ort eintragen. DANKE!\n\n🔎Mit den eingenommenen Spenden erneten wir im März 2018 in Wien das vermutlich erste soziale Musikinstitut namens DoReMi, welches vor allem die Inklusion von gefl࿌hteten und sozial benachteiligten Menschen (mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund) fördern soll. Gefl࿌htete sind dabei nicht nur SchülerInnen, sondern auch als LehrerInnen tätig und unterrichten Instrumente wie Oud, Klavier, Gitarre, Jazz-Gesang und Arabischer Gesang.
