This public piano is now located inside the URA Centre, in the air-conditioned spaces of Level 1.Perhaps this is the best place to keep this piano better maintained than it used to be when it was place outside the air-conditioned enclosed spaces of URA many years ago.I love the tall cellings and air-well structures at the URA Centre. Here, the key attraction is never the public piano.For members of the public, the key attraction here is the Singapore City Gallery which showcases Singapore’s dramatic transformation over the past 50 years, to become one of the most liveable cities in Asia. The exhibits here are interactive and immersive. Very intriguing for anyone interested in city planning and more! About every 10 - 15 minutes, there will be a screening of a short introductory video related to the Singapore City Gallery.It is almost not wise at all to compete with the video to play anything on the public piano when the video is screening.For this reason, this public piano is really here for people who wish to play the piano for a very brief period of time before the next video is screened again. Then again, the Singapore City Gallery is actually a lot more appealing!This place is definitely closed on Sundays, and the building is reportedly opened till 5 p.m. on other days. A public piano suitable for playing brief passages and music.For me, I love the building itself and its spaces a lot more than the piano.
