Hey People!! It takes a village.... The Gilmour House came with a Chickering square baby grand piano. Originally owned by Mrs Francis, the wife of the town reverend from the early 1900's. The piano was sold to someone in Ottawa and the last owners of this house tracked it down and brought it back, to rest in its original home. Super cool... But what to do with this? Learning to play music isn't in my wheel house but making connections w my community is my Forte. So we're hoping to find a piano teacher who might like to give piano lessons with this here relic. We won't charge you to use it but might request the occasional recital...around the holidays (wink wink). We will have it tuned and shined up and located in the front room. Any other ideas?
