In December 2016 I took the plunge and moved to NYC where I had zero family and friends. I knew no one here. It's been the hardest thing I've ever done, and often times I didn't think I would make it. One day when I was having anxiety about making it in NYC, I went to Washington Square Park, and came across @colinhuggins.nyc playing the piano. I sat down to listen for a bit, and out of sure coincidence, he began to play the soundtrack to my favorite movie. I knew then everything was going to be okay. This is the beauty of music, and this is the beauty of Colin Huggins and the gift he brings to Washington Square Park every time he rolls his piano out.
