I love a great BEFORE and AFTER and this one has to be my FAVOURITE yet! Our home at the beach is white, white, white (my boys think I don’t know there is a whole world of colour out there!) so you can imagine how it put me in spin having to find a spot for this dark antique pianola. 😳😏 But it’s my Great-grandmothers and has been passed down through our family so I just couldn’t NOT find a spot for it. We spent every Christmas around this, singing, with someone pumping the pedals until they ran out of breath. My kids know every word to classic songs from Rod Stewart, Neil Diamond, The Beatles and more because we have all the pianola rolls. So I had a moment 🤔 and thought I𠆝 paint it! It’s now the most beautiful soft grey with the help of #anniesloanchalkpaint from @sassicaandsalter and sits perfectly within our home.... sometimes styled like this, sometimes with lego all over it.
