I survived our first week of homeschooling with four girls and four grades! We even ended the week with piano lessons. I think they're okay with me being both their regular teacher AND their piano teacher... But this week has also come with many challenges as my health has suddenly changed with the push to get things in order after being able to rest from our time away. Maybe it's just the reminder that I need to lay some more things aside and just rest when I can. It's also a reminder to just rest in the One I need to fix my eyes on. There have been years where I wasn't sure we would get through as I started out the school year, but this year I feel the most confident I ever have been before. This is the first year where we aren't trying to renovate a big church building, moving homes, or living in a RV (although it worked just fine), or just fighting to survive, and I can finally BREATHE.
