Found this beautiful @singforhope piano by the water in Long Island City with a fish painted on it. Felt compelled to play some Billy Preston, not realizing it was the anniversary of his death thirteen years ago. I also was unaware at the time that another of my favorite keyboard players of all time had passed away that very morning. There’ll be a Dr. John tribute coming your way when I’m back in town and find another piano to pay homage.
