Admiring the work of Lawrence Alma Tadena, who oversaw the design and creation of this unique Steinway piano which is now part of the permanent collection @clarkinstitute - I am honored to be following in his footsteps, as artist in residence at Steinway and Sons HQ in Queens, New York City, creating another masterpiece for the 21st century - this time a water scene. It’s wonderful that companies such as Steinway still work with living artists and artisans to create such beautiful works of art for the contemporary world.
