Yesterday I had the pleasure of playing this awesome piano during the celebration/announcement of the launch of @thehubofbakersfield 🌸 THE HUB is a collective of influential people & businesses that have come together to put their energy towards the growth of the Bakersfield’s urban core. It is also now the home of @bakersfieldsecondsaturday which takes place downtown every 2nd Sat of the month. I’ll be posting the map for that! In celebration of the launch, THE HUB was able to get 7 donated pianos (painted by local artists) to place outside on the streets of downtown Bakersfield for anyone to play. They will be in front of (@thehensroost , @cafesmitten , @wildestdreamsconsignment , @tlowines , @tossit_saladbar_bakersfield , & @ccnoodlebar ) This piano was refurbished by @heatherlaganelli 👏 owner of @localefarmtotable where this wonderful event took place and where this piano will reside! She is amazing you guys, follow her and all of the things she’s doing to help make Bakersfield a more exciting & beautiful place! Thank you to every person involved in THE HUB!
