My husband jokingly says that normally people have thoughts, but I have notes instead.....🤣🤣 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Seriously, I was thinking about all the performers and the enormous challenges last year brought. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Speaking from my heart, music isn’t just my profession. It’s more than that. Being a performing pianist is the way of life. I live concert to concert. It’s always either getting ready to perform or learning a new program for future recital. Rehearsing, performing, repeat..... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Not to play for live audience was a huge loss. It’s devastating for all artists not to share their craft with people. Of course, many artists including myself, came up with other ways to bring music to listeners. Streaming or recording became some options which helped us not to loose touch with the audience. Hopefully, from the audience’s perspective it was also enjoyable. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I just can’t wait for all performers to play in the concert halls filled with people.
