“When you play, never mind who listens to you” I’ll let you in on a secret I get extremely nervous playing piano in front of anyone. It took me years for even to let Brad hear my play. He definitely helped me get over it a bit over the years. Funny thing is that I don’t have as many nerves playing guitar even though I’ve been only playing guitar for just over a year and playing piano for over 20! But when ever we go somewhere and there is a piano I always want to play but I typically just step up and plunk a few keys giggle and walk away like a scared shy little girl! Confidence is an interesting thing, and I would typically consider us both confident individuals. But it’s ok to not be confident in everything! Brad is definitely more confident dancing in front of people while I think I’m a bit more confident posing and doing videos in front of people. Just remember not to be too hard on yourself in the things you aren’t as confident in showing others, it doesn’t mean you aren’t great it just means you need time! So for now I’ll continue to plunk in public on the keys and maybe one day I’ll be able plunk a few more. What’s something you’re good at but aren’t comfortable sharing or showing others?
