Out for a bike ride and pianos on the street is back for the summer. Had to stop and play some boogie woogie; super fun and I think the crowd enjoyed it too!

How do you express yourself? What do you do that makes you happy? Growing up I focussed heavily on academics and athletics. In our household we were not allowed to listen to loud music and learning it was discouraged. Over the last 15 years I’ve picked up guitar and piano. Although I don’t play too well, it has brought me so much joy over the years. I have fond memories of playing guitar by the seaside in Morocco, on a beach in Ibiza and watching open mic nights at Mr Brownstones. I love initiatives like having community pianos on the street. They bring even more colour to a wonderful city like Vancouver! #pianoonthestreet #vancouver #travelgram #pianoman

Met this lovely man on my walk this evening. After sitting and listening to him play for some time we began talking. What felt like 10 minutes turned out to be 2 hours. A man that's survived a huge car accident and was left paralyzed for over a year, a man that works with terminally ill cancer patients every day. The most positive man I have ever met.
