We have 5 private lesson studios in our new location, each one with its own vibe. I finally got to painting/updating the piano in Studio 2, which is Miss Clarisse's room 💜 She picked out the color for me to paint it and it's absolutely gorgeous!! It so perfectly fits her fun and vibrant personality! I finished up the update with a cushioned bench and the most perfect marble knobs..

I gave Studio 2 a full makeover this week! I also gave the piano the purple treatment 💜 Now all 4 of my studios have the same look and feel...all very Piano Gal Shop! I love this room!!.

Don't mind the wet paint, but check out my progress today! The biggest task was the inner shelf. I had to cut the shelf so it fit around the bridge and then cut all the trim pieces. More bits to add and paint tomorrow, followed by topcoat..

I'm almost done with my latest custom piano for sale in the showroom. It's a lovely matte black. I made my own filigree stencil and added them in a subtle dark grey on the lower panel. Just need to do the bench and it'll be ready to sell. It's so gorgeous!.

When I paint a piano, I work to get the most professional look possible. Using a sprayer is a must for both the paint and the topcoat. In addition, the details are everything. The fallboard, top and lower panels, key slip, music desk, and key blocks all need to be removed and sprayed separately. In addition, hardware and hinges come off and felt is taped back so it doesn't get any paint on it. The finished piano then looks clean, beautiful, and it's hard to tell that it was even painted 🖤.

I've stripped 2 layers of paint off Delilah's body and legs. Today, I sprayed the first coat of the new paint. It looks so gooooood 😍 Next, will be stripping paint off the lid and desk and repainting those in the same black. Then, secret stencil and bling accents!.

I get beautiful, clean finishes on all my painted pianos by using a sprayer. I looooove my paint sprayer!.

I finished! This is, without a doubt, the most personal and special custom piece I've ever had the privilege to do. Every bit of this piano bar is sentimental, personal, and hand picked by my client. What a cool thing to get to create something meaningful like this for someone ❤️.

So, I (Marta) repainted our traveling pianos to reflect our updated logo and vibe. They turned out awesome!! We will be rolling these out on Thursday in Cannery Square for our annual Sing Along 🎶 They look so rad!!.
