9. Brighton, The Grand Hotel Just the name The Grand conjures up luxury, elegance and style, and this hotel certainly lives up to its name! We were a little nervous arriving here as we had emailed a couple of times and hadn't as yet received a response to say we were allowed to play. However, we met the lovely Adam who went to ask for us and we then had the honour of playing the grand piano in The Grand Hotel (thank you Adam). The people checking in, sat in the lounge bar and just milling about in the foyer enjoyed listening to 'Etude Op 46 No.11' by Stephen Heller hope you do too!
