back in 2012, the #playmeimyours project placed thirty pianos around #losangeles as interactive music and art pieces - anyone who came upon one was invited to sit and play a tune, whether or not they were skilled pianists.\n\n(as far as i know, the piano placed at @unionstation is still there, and i've listened to some pretty talented performers coax some tunes out of that instrument)\n\nstarting this month, @singforhope placed sixteen pianos in public places around #beverlyhills. all have been designed and painted by a selected group of artists. like the earlier installation, these will be open for anyone to play for a month, after which they will be donated to schools around the LA area.\n\nearlier tonight, the @thekaraloveproject and founder @lilydulan invited musicians sheri field, @springgroove, james lent, and @joeylugassy to perform at the piano painted by @adamartla at #roxburypark. tori zalben shared the NFT art piece she created for the cover of lily's book, \.
