If you can play 'dinner jazz' already, you might get through the first minute without being booted. Wrong music can drive away customers who paid big money for fancy dining. If you actually know the restaurant gig, I don't believe they would allow a walk on. Could ruin the entire evening. A bar atmosphere with a piano would be a far better idea, but be sensitive to genre of the bar.

There is a piano, but it’s in the middle of the dining area. So it’s kinda not really available. Unless you wanna sit and play by a bunch of people eating. I feel all on the spot even thinking about playing it.
